Mason was a rockstar as our guest announcer this morning. He reminded everyone that we do not have school Friday or Monday.

Thank you to our amazing sidewalk crew this morning. ❤️🚀💙🐣

Our maintenance department was working on a heating unit that produced a smoke smell throughout the building so in an abundance of caution we evacuated. The fire department came and has cleared the building. All students have returned to the normal schedule. Thank you for your patience during arrival this morning.

Thank you Chris Evans-Longmire from "Kids First Child Advocacy Center" and "Iva's Place" for speaking with our staff this afternoon.

Congratulations to our A and B Silver Honor Roll for term 3!

Elliott was our guest announcer this morning. He had the big job of congratulating our A & B Silver Honor Roll kiddos for term 3. Way to go 🚀💙❤️!

Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of March 25th.
1. No LAUNCH tomorrow due to staff training after school.
2. Easter Break will be March 29 - April 1st, so we will not have school.
3. Kindergarten Round-up will be April 5th. Prek and kindergarten will not have school that day. If you are registering a student for kindergarten or applying for prek you can find more information on our website: New Student Information | Eaton Elementary School (loudoncounty.org)
4. Update: We have changed the focus of our next PTO and Family Engagement event due to lack of interest. It will now be a “Bike Rodeo” event from 5:30-7:00 on the track behind the school. We will be sending home more information soon, but we will have a food truck, Loudon County Sheriff’s office, and a local bike shop in attendance. Stay tuned!
5. Lastly, we have included the update "Tennessee Pathways to Promotion for 3rd and 4th graders." The graphic was updated on 3/12/24. We sent this home with report cards last week for students who may be impacted by the state retention law. If you have questions, please reach out to your child's teacher or Mrs. Baessler baesslera@loudoncounty.org.
Have a great week and if we can do anything please reach out.

Congratulations to students who were recognized during or "Term 3 Student Celebrations"! More pictures and videos can be found on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/media/set?vanity=EatonElementary&set=a.993836082273178

Art to Remember flyers were sent home before spring break. In order to get free shipping, you must submit your orders by Friday. Email wigginsl@loudoncounty.org if you have any question

Great day to be an Eaton Rocket and even better when Vera is our guest announcer. She did a beautiful job this morning.

We want to treat our staff to an egg hunt before Easter break. We would love a donation to help make this appreciation event a blast!

Palmer was an excellent guest announcer this morning. Did you know that March is optimism month? Her words of wisdom focused on that theme: "everyday may not be good, but there's something good in everyday."

April is National Kite Month and Coordinated School Health wants to help families get outdoors and moving to celebrate! Families will receive a kite, a kite-themed book of their choosing, and a kite-theme craft. https://forms.office.com/r/j0CywB0mE4
