🎄 Help Us With Our Staff Elf Hunt! 🎄
The elves are on the loose, and we need YOUR help to find them! 🕵️♀️✨
We will be hiding festive elves around the school, and having our staff go on the hunt. We need donations of prizes to make this time special for our staff.

As we approach the holiday season, LAUNCH students spent time spreading kindness and positivity. Fantasy of Trees, an annual event, helps to kick off the Christmas season while being one of the largest fundraisers for the Children's Hospital. Positives Vibes and Kindness Club built and decorated gingerbread houses to be sold in the gingerbread village at the Fantasy of Trees. Children helping children, what a great way to spread Christmas cheer!

🚀❤️Thursday was pure magic. Our four Yes Hour winners, Gabe, Aries, Noah, and Zander, showed up ready to make school history, and honestly, they nearly did. Mrs. Lufkin, Mrs. Hurst, and Mrs. Womack were fully prepared to say YES to every dream these boys had been quietly saving up all year. They joyfully ran through the halls, hyped up our middle school soccer team like a professional cheer squad, danced the chicken dance with teachers, enjoyed snacks, crafted festive frosting trees, played the most intense game of hide-and-seek the school has ever seen, and wrapped it all up with some well-earned free computer time. They even knocked out an act of good service by tidying up the playground toys. The boys came ready with big dreams. Watching them live out the moments they've always wished they could do at school was truly the best. The teachers are looking forward to making the dreams of four new winners come true next year. Be sure to bid on the Yes Hour at the next auction!

11/24/2025
Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of November 24th.
1. We want to wish everyone a Happy early Thanksgiving. We will not have school Wednesday – Friday of this week.
2. We have several opportunities for volunteering. If you are interested in volunteering check out the signup link for already planned opportunities: https://bit.ly/25-26EESVolSignup .
3. Rocketeer will be going home tomorrow with some important information for December, so please check it out.
4. This year for “Giving Tuesday” we are collecting new or gently used towels and blankets for the homeless and animal shelters. We would love to fill our foyer up with these items between now and December 2nd.
5. Principals Night In is scheduled for Monday, December 8th from 6-7 in the cafeteria. The holidays are coming, and kids will be spending more time online. Detective Carver will share helpful tips and advice to keep your children safe on the internet, just in time for the holiday season. We will also have childcare available. Don’t miss this opportunity!
6. Parent Tip: Last month we shared Jane the Brain and how stress was a struggle. This month we want to share another helpful hit from Jane the Brain about frustration. Frustration affects the body and brain and in the video link she learns tips to handle frustration. Check it out with your child and talk about how they could use these same strategies when they get frustrated. https://youtu.be/AfKOuJ-s3iA?si=FOCMX8m0zw6hDBTY
Have a great week!

3rd graders wrapped up Because of Winn-Dixie with hearts full and smiles wide! Just like Opal, we learned that love and friendship can come from the most unexpected places. To celebrate, we threw a party straight out of the book—complete with Littmus Lozenges, World Famous Dump Punch, egg salad sandwiches, pickles, and peanut butter sandwiches!

Third Grade enjoyed their Winn Dixie parties this morning. We had the exact menu the unlikely friends did in the book, along with the same atmosphere with dog pictures to decorate and twinkly lights. Notice our fancy party outfits and smiling faces - learning through books is so much fun! 📚🐶🤓

Eli started our morning off on a high note. He reminded students to bring in blankets for Giving Tuesday and focus on gratitude ahead of Thanksgiving. "Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow".

🎉 Surprise Assembly Turns Into a Celebration! 🎉
What started as an “Attitude of Gratitude” assembly turned out to be a BIG reveal! Our amazing staff competed in fun Minute to Win It challenges, only to discover the real reason for the gathering:
🏆 We’ve been named a Reward School for the 4th consecutive year!
This is the state’s highest recognition, honoring schools for both high achievement and strong growth for all students.
We couldn’t be prouder of our students, staff, families, and community! Your dedication makes this possible year after year!
✨ Bonus news: Our very own principal, Mrs. Baessler, was named Loudon County Principal of the Year!
Thank you to everyone who makes our school such an incredible place to learn and grow. 💙
