Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of November 3rd.
1. Halloween was a blast last week. You can check out the full album of pictures on our Facebook page.
2. No LAUNCH Tuesday, November 4th due to teacher training.
3. Boys and Girls Club will not be pick up tomorrow either due to staff training.
4. We have several opportunities for volunteering. We are still in need of a few volunteers to help with our November staff appreciation luncheon. If you are interested in volunteering check out the signup link for already planned opportunities: https://bit.ly/25-26EESVolSignup . We also have a parent meeting on Friday at 10:00 to discuss the remaining events for this semester.
5. School pictures are tomorrow. We sent home picture last month https://aptg.co/VhK6QT but if it’s been misplaced here is the digital link http://prepayorders.com/school/ees13215
6. Veteran’s day is around the corner, and we want to honor our veterans at our Veterans' Day concert on November 10th by putting together a slideshow. Please email Mrs. Land at lande@loudoncounty.org with the following information of a veteran in your family (Student Name, Student Grade, STUDENTS’ Relation to the VETERAN, Veterans Name
Veterans Branch of service, Veterans Photo). We will also host a Veteran’s Day parade at 10:00 on Veteran’s Day with North Middle School. We ask that our Veteran’s line up at Central United Methodist at 9:45 to drive thru our campus allowing our students to thank you for our service. Wear red, white, blue on Tuesday.
7. Parent Tip: The state has released a “Interactive Decodable Book Series” and its available at no cost for all Tennessee families to support reading! This exciting resource is designed to support reading practice and help young learners develop stronger literacy skills. Each book in the series features engaging stories carefully crafted to align with foundational reading skills, ensuring children can practice decoding words in a meaningful way. These books also include interactive elements to make learning fun and engaging, allowing families to actively participate in their child's reading journey or to provide extra reading practice at school. Families and educators can access the series today to start building stronger readers, one book at a time! Check it out: https://bit.ly/47kXtJM
Have a great week!

We can’t wait to celebrate Halloween with our amazing students! 🧡🕸️ Whether it’s costumes, crafts, or sweet treats, we’re excited to see all the creativity and smiles.
Remember: safety first—costumes should be school-appropriate, comfortable, and safe for learning and play. No masks or weapons. 🧙♀️✨
Let’s make this Halloween one to remember at Eaton! 🍬🍂
