The scholars in Mrs. Larson's roomed loved this activity! Scholars investigated how fossils are made by creating a model of a mold and cast. The playdough represented the layers of sand and mud surrounding the skeleton of our 🦖 dinosaurs.🦕

Random Acts of Kindness Bingo cards due Friday, December 15th.
We have the 12 days of Christmas for EES staff leading to winter break. Today we had a Nacho-O average staff nacho bar provided by our PTO. Thank you parents and @Aylas for blessing our staff!

Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of December 4th.
1. December Rocketeer Link: https://5il.co/2a5pn (Cosmic Café menus, Family Calendar, PTO Connection, Kindness Bingo)
2. Information will be sent home on Wednesday, December 6th regarding 2nd semester LAUNCH sign-ups. Sign-ups will take place ONLINE from Thursday, December 7th at 8:00 AM through Tuesday, December 12th at 3:00 PM. If your student is selected for 2nd semester LAUNCH, you will be notified on Friday, December 15th through paperwork sent home and an email.
3. Makeup picture day is coming this Friday! Anyone unhappy with their original picture, and would like to take another, will need to bring your picture package (or reorder form) on makeup day and give it to the photographer. If you ordered pictures on the original day, the same package will be reprinted using the new image from makeup day.
4. Friday will also be “wear a fun holiday top” to school.
5. Next week we have a theme for each day.
a. Monday – wear green for grinch day
b. Tuesday – holiday socks
c. Wednesday – Rudolph nose
d. Thursday – Christmas Hat
e. Friday – Bling attire (wear lights and/or bells)
6. There will be no LAUNCH on December 18th and 19th.
7. December 19th we will dismiss at 11:00.

Ms. Hays had her students create a STEAM based ornament for the class tree. She sent home a bag of random items (paperclip, beads, a zip tie, a piece of felt, a popsicle stick, etc). They were also allowed to choose one item of their choice to make the ornament. 🎄

Sadie was our guest announcer today. She has a calming voice and started us off on the right note. During the "Words of Wisdom" she reminded us all to fight off those gimmes during the holiday season.
