Good afternoon, Eaton families!
1. Teacher Appreciation is May 5-9 and we need a few things to help make this extra special for teachers and staff. We will have a nacho bar on Tuesday and need crockpots of beef and chicken for our staff. Wednesday we are in need of desserts. Thursday, we need a few volunteers to run a popcorn bar. 2. Thank you to everyone who donated to the Staff Egg Hunt. Our staff were very appreciative, and it was a great way to end the first week of testing.
3. Talent Show flyers went home last week for 2nd – 4th grade. If your child wants to participate, flyers must be returned by Friday, April 25th. Tryouts will be Thursday, May 1st and the top 15 acts will be invited to perform in front of the school on Thursday, May 15th. https://5il.co/3dcp4

STEM Peep Challenge in Mrs. Schaffer's class. Students were asked to build a nest for their peep to keep it safe using only toothpicks & jellybeans. Check out their awesome creations!

🌟 We want to add a new Buddy Bench to our playground. To make it happen, we need your help. We’re collecting plastic bottle caps & lids! ♻️ You can drop off your caps at the school. Together, we can make a difference, one cap at a time! 💛

We will be celebrating our 4th graders graduation from Eaton on May 15th at 1:50. Eaton’s tradition is to honor our 4th grade students by having a “Walk of Fame” on the last full day of school.

Good afternoon, Eaton families!
1. We started state testing this week and we have a few proctors who can no longer come on Wednesday (5 needed) of this week and Thursday (3 needed) and Friday (5 needed) next week. Proctors will observe the testing room to ensure it is conducted fairly and according to the testing security procedures. If you are interested in helping, please sign up using the link below and Mrs. Welden will reach out with more information. 2. We are excited that the Bike Rodeo is back! We can’t wait to see you on Thursday evening from 5:30-7:00. Bring your bikes, scooters, and roller skates for an evening of fun on the track. UT Children’s Hospital is donating bicycle helmets to anyone who needs one. We will also have a touch a truck area and food truck that evening.
3. Staff Egg Hunt - We would love donations of goodies or treats to make this appreciation event successful. Please send donations in before April 15th. Need help? We created an Amazon Wish List (https://a.co/6Od8mYK ).
4. We do not have school on Friday, April 18th and Monday, April 21st.
