6. We had a great “Principals Night In” last week. We teamed up with the Loudon County Sheriff's Office to discuss what parents need to know about technology their child might be exposed to at home and what to look for when you're screening their devices. We have uploaded a handout regarding some of the material covered to our website. Thank you to Detective Samantha Carver for sharing your wisdom and Life Bridge Church for hosting dinner. We will have another event in the spring because it was extremely informative. https://5il.co/280vv
7. Veteran’s day is around the corner. We will have our annual parade in conjunction with NMS. Please share with your family and friends so we can celebrate our local Veteran’s. It will be on November 10th at 10:00am. The flyer for the event is located on our website: https://5il.co/27lwm
8. Additionally, we would like to honor our Veterans in our Veteran's Day concert by putting together a slideshow. Please fill out our Microsoft form and upload a picture of your Veteran with their name and how they are related to one of our students. Please upload your submission by Wednesday, November 8th @ 11:00am. You will need to use your child’s login credentials to submit a submission. We will be sending home login information in your child’s folder with the Rocketeer tomorrow. PreK will submit their submissions to their child’s teacher. https://forms.office.com/r/baJ8qjxu5j

Halloween is tomorrow. Students may wear costumes but they must be school appropriate. If the costume or any accessory becomes a distraction to the learning environment we will ask them to change. Please refrain from face paint and hair color.
Thank you, Loudon County Central Office, for hosting a cookout on Tues. for a fall appreciation. It was great to see School Board members Melissa Browder, LaVonne Barbour, Zack Cusick, & Mr. Bobby Johnson Jr. for lunch too! The hamburgers and hotdogs were delicious!

Thank you for attending our Carnival last night. Huge shout out to our Carnival committee and PTO for the organization of the event. ❤️🎡💙🚀
Good afternoon parents.
I want to give you a few reminders about this afternoon’s carnival and auction. If your student bought a presale wristband or punch card, those items will be at the will call booth on the basketball court. If your student got a fast pass, as part of their read-a-thon prize, those will also be at the will call booth on the basketball court. We are asking that everybody remain on the track portion of the carnival and not walking through the middle of the soccer field. We do believe it’s going to be a little muddy out there so we would like to avoid mud on any of the inflatables. Our auction will be closing at 7:30 so please do not forget to place your final bids before 7:30. You will be able to purchase and take your items between 7:30 and 8 o’clock. If you are not in attendance or have already left by 7:30 you are more than welcome to come at the beginning of next week to pick up your items and pay for them. Thank you thank you again for a wonderful read-a-thon and carnival. We would not be able to do these events without the amazing support of our family, community, and staff.
Can’t wait to see you tonight from 5-8.
Taco Mania to the rescue. Our Nachos and More canceled so we are excited they will be joining us.
