Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of February 19th.
1. Friday is our Bingo for Books from 6:00-7:30. We hope you will join us for an evening of fun. It will be FREE to play bingo and win books. We will have cash only concessions set up if you want snacks while you play. During the event our book fair will also be open for shopping too!
2. Thursday is school bus driver appreciation day. If you have a note or sweet gift, please send it to school and we will get it to our bus drivers.

This morning, Mrs. Humphrey’s Pre-K put their learning into action! Students used marshmallows and spaghetti noodles to build polygons (closed shapes with straight sides). This is one of the many activities to wrap up what they have learned about shapes, this semester.
Carolina did a great job as a guest announcer this morning. Her words of wisdom were focused on the miracle of love. She challenged everyone to send a card to someone who might need a little extra kindness.

Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of February 12th.
1. 3rd and 4th grade will take the stand-alone field test tomorrow so the state can gather more writing samples.
2. On Thursday this week is SRO Appreciation. We are very thankful for Officer McCall and Officer Freeman. If you have a chance, please send them a message telling them how much you appreciate them. Our wonderful PTO has set up an appreciation table in the cafeteria for them.
3. Yearbooks sales started last week so reserve your copy today!
4. Valentine’s day is around the corner, and we want to remind everyone that we don’t accept deliveries on that day. We ask that you share all those special deliveries and treats at home.
5. Thursday is our 1st grade musical at 6:30. Please remember students can enter at 6:00 but parents will not be permitted to enter the church until 6:20.

Earlier today, there was a fire alarm activation at our school. Please rest assured that all students and staff followed our safety protocols and evacuated the building promptly.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff are our utmost priority, and we take all necessary precautions to ensure their safety at all times. We will be conducting a review of today's incident to identify any areas for improvement in our emergency procedures.
All students have safely been returned to class or lunch and the day will proceed normally.
