May 13th
Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of May 13th.
(1.) Tomorrow is Field Day. Students need to wear tennis shoes. We will have it rain or shine. Kona Ice will also be on campus during lunch time.
(2.) Wednesday will be Student Celebrations and Spring Blast Party for good behavior.
(3.) Thursday is the PTO Talent Show at 9:00, Walk of Fame at 1:50, and K Celebrations at 6:30.
(4.) Friday is the last day of school. It will only be a half day with dismissal at 11:00.
(5.) If you are planning to attend any of these campus events, please make sure to pre-register 24 hours prior to the event beginning so we can have your badge printed. If you are unable to pre-register please bring a state issued identification in so the office staff can scan it. The pre-registration link is on our website below the pictures on the left “Raptor Sign In”, Home | Eaton Elementary School (loudoncounty.org).
(6.) If your child has any medicine in the clinic that will need to be picked up by a guardian by end of day Thursday unless arrangements have been made with Nurse Mark.
(7.) Registration Day will be Friday, July 26th from 8-3. Please mark this in your calendar. Homerooms will be released via Skyward Family Portal on Monday, July 15th.

Our students were full of excitement last week to wear orange to show their appreciation for Nurse Mark. Go VOLS!
Ms. Whitefield's class celebrated last week with a Glow Party and a Dino day. They explored a new career as a paleontologist digging for fossils in chocolate chip cookies.

Kindergarten camp out is in full swing!
Thank you to our amazing volunteers who've helped all year on the sidewalk. We appreciate our "Sidewalk Smiles" crew and it was our honor to provide breakfast for you this morning.
Kindergarten had their second in-house field trip with @themuseknoxville yesterday. Students explored several science related projects.
We had our ice cream sundae party yesterday to celebrate the hard work students put forth on their spring benchmark tests.
