10/28/2024 Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of October 28th. (1) We will not have LAUNCH on Thursday due to Halloween. (2) Students will be allowed to wear costumes for Halloween but there should not be any face paint, weapons, blood, and dress code does apply. (3) Friday is school picture day, and these are the photos that will go in the yearbook. (4) The Rocketeer will go home on Thursday so don’t forget to check your child’s folder. (5) Veteran’s Day is around the corner. We will have a parade at 10:00, 4th grade program at 6:30pm, and a slide show honoring our Veteran’s. (6) If you have a Veteran in your family, please fill out our Microsoft form and upload a picture of your Veteran with their name and how they are related to one of our students. Please upload your submission by Friday, November 8th @ 11:00am. 3rd and 4th grade students will need to use their Loudon County credentials to submit the form. Yesterday, Mrs. Patel came to our Miss Wilken's class to talk about Diwali! It is also known as the festival of lights & originates in India! People light lamps at Diwali to show that light is more powerful than darkness, & good is more powerful than evil.

Mrs. Myers and Mrs. Dean hosted their teacher experience this week from the auction, Karaoke Party!




Kindergarten hosted the teacher experience today that was auctioned off at the carnival, Spooktacular Halloween Party. Students and K teachers had a blast with treats, face painting, and 🎃 decorating.

Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of October 21st.
(1) Thank you to the amazing volunteers and staff who made last week amazing. We had great readers and a wonderful carnival night. We will have a total from our Read-a-thon and Carnival in a few weeks after we pay out our expenses and the student prizes so please stay tuned.
(2) Our teachers have training tomorrow, so LAUNCH is cancelled for Tuesday, October 22nd.
(3) We will be running our monthly fire drill sometime this week.
(4) Friday we will have our Rocket Reporter announcements and our student mock election.
(5) We will be uploading photos from last week’s activities over the next few days so please check Facebook for the full albums.
