2. We do not have after school launch this Tuesday, the 4th due to teacher meetings and this Thursday, the 6th due to parent/teacher conferences.

4. This week is School Counselor Appreciation week and we are encouraging students to create a card for Mrs. Harris and our new counselor Mrs. Sweet.
5. We need 1 more volunteer to help with class pictures this Friday. We also need help with candy grams next week during lunch. We still need 3 volunteers for Monday, 1 for Tuesday, and 2 for Wednesday. 6. Candy grams will be on sale February 10-12 for a quarter in the cafeteria.

Due to challenges related to sickness, Loudon County Schools will be closed Tuesday, February 4 and Wednesday, February 5, 2025.


Mrs. Dauscha's class used their planning document to record adjectives with grapes and popcorn using their 5 senses.



Gideon was our guest announcer this morning and he shared about Groundhog's Day. 🦫✨ Our furry friend Punxsutawney Phil popped out of his burrow to predict if we'll have an early spring or six more weeks of winter yesterday. 🌸❄️ Gideon shared that winter is sticking around.❄️❄️


Attention launch parents! There is no after school launch Tuesday, the 4th for teacher meetings and Thursday, the 6th for parent/teacher conferences. Please have your student picked up at regular dismissal.


Mrs. Humphreys Pre-K worked on gross motor and listening skills each morning this week to get wiggles out before their morning meeting.

Third Grade had a blast today on a grade level field trip to Aesop’s Fables. 🫶🏻





Cheyenne was our guest announcer this morning. She highlighted the Lunar New Year and challenged our students to make their own wish from her more honesty, fairness and goodness this year.


Ella was our guest announcer this morning. She gave our school several safety reminders. 1. The more prepared you are the safer you will be. 2. Smoke detectors should be located on every floor of your home. 3. Smoke detector battery should be changed on a regular basis.

Good afternoon, Eaton families! It has been a very gloomy day outside but cheerful inside with tons of learning taking place.
1. On Friday the Rocketeer will go home so please look for it in your child’s backpack.
2. Fundraiser Update: We have purchased two outdoor magnetic chalkboards for our outdoor classrooms, and they should arrive soon. We are in the final stages of gathering quotes to replace the slide on the primary playground, add 2 more benches and 2 more tables to the primary grades outdoor classroom, and are meeting with one company this week regarding our outdoor digital signage. Thank you for your donations and support this past fall during our read-a-thon and carnival.

4. Monday starts School Counselor Appreciation week and we want to welcome our new counselor Dr. Brittany Sweet to our team. She will be starting on Monday. We also want to give love to Sara Harris who has been assisting our counseling program. If you want to send a card to either our new counselor or to Mrs. Harris just drop them off at the office.
5. We have a few volunteer opportunities coming in February. We still need 2 more volunteers for class pictures on Friday, Feb. 7th. We also need volunteers for the three days of candy grams Feb. 10-12 during lunch times. The Book Fair starts February 21-March 3rd and Mrs. Knies is looking for help during that event too. Lastly, we are doing a cereal bar for Eaton staff on February 14th because we “cerealsly” appreciate our staff.
