I am so sorry for my previously mis-dated post. Due to the early dismissal on 4/8, we are going to start our dress up days on Tuesday, 4/9. TN Ready begins 4/16 - and it's our Scouts' chance to show the world what they have learned this year. So, to kick off our testing season, we have Dress Up Days planned for next week! 4/9 (Tuesday) - It's Hat Day "Remember to wear your thinking cap!" 4/10 (Wednesday) - Don't sweat the test - Wear sweatpants and/or shirt to school. (Dress code still applies.) 4/11 (Thursday) - Green/White Day: "Steekee Scouts are simply the BEST!" 4/12 (Friday) - P J Day - Relax and Get Ready; 4/15 (Monday) - We're all in this together! Wear sportswear that represents your favorite sports team. Mine is the Steekee Scouts basketball team!

Just a reminder to pre-register to attend Grandparents' Day at Steekee Elementary School. Use this link: https://forms.office.com/r/ChfpARfPyV. If you have already registered, please remember you will still need to have your driver's license scanned. We encourage you to register online, and then stop by the Steekee School office before 'the big day,' to have your license scanned. That way, you may pick up your name tag (they will be arranged alphabetically using your last name) in the gym, the morning of our celebration. You'll need to show your driver's license to ensure the picture on your license matches the picture on your name tag. If you haven't pre-registered prior to Wednesday, March 6th, you will need to step to the registration line (in the gym) and have your license scanned the morning of March 8th. Pre-registration will close at 5:00 pm, March 6th. McEachern Photographers will be onsite to take pictures of Grandparents with their grandchildren to remember this special day. If you would like to purchase a photo/package of you and your grandchild, information and pre-pay envelopes will be sent home with Steekee Scouts this week. Picture packages must be pre-paid. We can't wait to see you and to celebrate you for the important role you play in our Scouts' lives.
