Please remember to report to the office to sign in for Awards' Day tomorrow (5/15). Students may be signed out in their homeroom/classroom.
If you have never had your driver's license scanned, please allow several extra minutes so Miss Amy can scan your license through our Raptor system.
We have a few snacks and drinks left over from our (non-)field day events today. So, Mrs. Webb is going to host a rolling/roving snack cart in the afternoon (Wednesday, 5/14.) Please see the attached flyer for prices. (Tic Toc will not be here tomorrow, but we sure do appreciate that they were here today!)

Families-It's looking more and more like Field Day will be rained out tomorrow. We'll wait to see what tomorrow morning (early) looks like and will send out a notice before 7:15 am
Unfortunately, if we have to cancel, there are no more days left to reschedule before we dismiss at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 16th.

Thursday, May 1, will be the last day for the LAUNCH After School Program. Beginning Monday, May 5, all students will be dismissed at 3:00 p.m. Please ensure your child knows whether to ride the bus or be a car rider.
Please be sure to take the LAUNCH SURVEY! It helps with funding for LAUNCH program at Steekee.
Don't forget: Boys' Basketball Tryouts @ Steekee Elementary School
Rising 3rd, 4th, 5th Grade Boys - Basketball Team tryouts are Thursday & Friday, May 1st and 2nd @ 3:30 p.m. in the Steekee Gym. You must be wearing sneakers/tennis shoes (laced) with socks, shorts and a t-shirt. Tryouts are closed - only students will be in the gym. Please see the attached flyer. Registration is not REQUIRED, but is greatly appreciated and very helpful.

May 1, 2025: Spring Benchmark testing begins
May 5, 2025: Ice Cream Sundae incentive day for testing
May 8, 2025: Community Helpers' Day
May 12, 2025: Inflatable Reading Reward Day - please check with your child to make sure the have met their Accelerated Reader goal.
May 13, 2025: Field Day - more information will be sent out from your child's teacher
May 15, 2025: Awards Day - grade level schedule will be sent out by your child's teacher
