👮♂️ Celebrating Our School Resource Officer Slattery 👮♂️Today we want to shine a spotlight on the incredible work our School Resource Officer does each and every day. Her dedication to building relationships, keeping our campus safe, and supporting our students makes a tremendous difference. Thank you for your commitment, your kindness, and the positive impact you bring to our school community. We appreciate you more than words can say!

💕 Sweet Surprise for Our Staff! 💌 A huge thank‑you to Fizzy Kiss (Dirty Sodas) for stopping by today and treating our staff to something extra special ahead of Valentine’s Day. The smiles were big, the drinks were delicious, and the love was definitely felt.
We’re grateful for community partners who pour joy into our schools in such fun and thoughtful ways. What a perfect way to kick off the Valentine’s season! 💖

Today our amazing first graders lit up the stage with their performance of “How the Groundhog Stole Valentine’s Day,” and they absolutely shined. Their energy, confidence, and big hearts turned the story into something truly unforgettable.
A huge thank‑you to our teachers, families, and everyone who helped make this performance possible. And to our first graders: you made us proud in the best way.
❤️🐾

We are having the best time with our Student Principal (Charlotte) and Student Vice Principal (Gideon) today. They have brought so much joy, leadership, and school spirit to every moment. What an awesome day for all of us.

Still not over our guest announcer’s sweet voice today. Micheal was absolute perfection as he introduced himself and had everyone ready for the pledge.

❤️ Valentine’s Challenge from Our Guest Announcer, Charlie! ❤️ Today, Charlie encouraged our students to do one small but meaningful thing this V-Day: make a card for someone who might need a little extra kindness. Let’s spread kindness together this Valentine’s season. 💌

Today is the last day for candy grams during lunch.

Catching sight of those snowflakes in the hallway hits with this instant lift, tiny bursts of encouragement floating on every wall. Each note from the student council feels like a quiet reminder that someone believes in you, even on the days you forget to believe in yourself.

❤️ Valentine’s Day Candy Grams! ❤️ Sweet surprises are coming your way! Candy Grams will be on sale during lunch 2/5-2/11 for just 25 cents each. Send a friend, teacher, or someone special a little Valentine cheer.
We’re also asking for donations of Hershey Kisses to help make this a success. Any contributions are greatly appreciated and can be dropped off in the front office.

Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of February 9th.
1. We have our 1st grade program on Thursday, “How the groundhog stole Valentines Day” at Central United Methodist at 6:30.
2. Your classroom teacher should be reaching out regarding rescheduled conferences that we missed last week due to weather.
3. As Valentine’s Day nears, we are asking for help from you on a certain matter. We request that there be no flower or balloon deliveries to the school for Valentine’s Day. Our school has a large population of students and deliveries can be overwhelming to us. Please enjoy those special deliveries at home with your child. I guarantee they love those too!
4. Candy Grams are being sold this week for 25 cents. We will end sales on Wednesday so they can be delivered by Friday.
5. Our Student Council is working on a project for Cold Hands and Warm Hearts. They are asking for donations of individual snacks to donate to this organization.
6. There is no school on Monday due to Presidents Day.
7. Mark your calendar for Bingo for Books. This is a free event to play bingo and win books. It will be February 20th from 5:00-7:00. Additionally, the book fair will be open for shopping during that time.
8. School Resource Officer appreciation is technically on Sunday, February 15th but we will celebrate on Friday. If you see Officer Slattery on Friday, make sure to show her some love!
9. We also want to shoutout our 4th grade math teams as they compete this weekend at the Perennial Math Tournament in Chattanooga.
10. Parent Tip: We have posted a link with a President’s Day puzzle pack you can do at home with your students. https://aptg.co/PvlBSx
Have a great week!
