Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of September 9th.
1) Book Fair has started, and runs until Monday, September 16th. Mrs. Knies has sent home information regarding when your child will be going, visitors, and how to use the e-wallet.
2) Spirit Week is this week as we lead up to our only fundraiser for the year. Tomorrow is hat day. Wednesday is Jersey Day. Thursday is School Spirit Day. Friday is Luau Day.
3) School Spirit apparel has arrived and should make it home today or tomorrow.
4) At the end of the Rocketeer was our September Family Engagement Activity. It isn’t due until September 27th. You can check out the activity here https://5il.co/2vlhr . We will be hanging these on the window at the end of the month.
5) Don’t forget it is #getyourselfie2school month. We will be drawing for prizes and every day you are at school you earn an entry.
6) Weekly Parent Tip: Motor vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 13 in America. The Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) strives to reduce serious injuries and fatal crashes by educating parents, caregivers, and members of the community about the proper use of car seats, boosters, and seat belts. Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute on a Tuesday for the week of September 2nd.
(1) Thursday is Parent-Teacher Conferences. We would love for you to stop in and hear how your child is progressing. Reach out to your child’s teacher to schedule a conference if you haven’t done so already.
(2) Book Fair starts this Friday and runs until Monday, September 16th. Mrs. Knies has sent home information regarding when your child will be going, visitors, and how to use the e-wallet.
(3) We are going to paint the school orange again this Friday for the University of Tennessee’s football game on Saturday. We are encouraging everyone to wear orange on Friday.
