9/28/2026
Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of September 28th.

1. Prek has community helpers visiting all week.

2. Rocketeer will be going home on Wednesday.

3. Kindergarten and PreK have a field trip this week.

4. Friday will be Term 1 Student Celebrations and our school-wide behavior party.

5. Next week is Fall Break so there is no school. We will return to school on Monday, October 12th.

6. When we return from Fall Break it will Read-a-thon and Carnival week. The Auction opens on Monday (10/12). Donations are due for the Read-a-thon on 10/14 (Wednesday) and presale for Carnival (Thursday) wristbands are due by 10/15.

7. Remember if you come to eat lunch at school to make an appointment because we have limited seating and you must stay in the cafeteria.

8. We have lots of volunteer opportunities coming over the next month so check it out: https://bit.ly/26-27EESVolSignup .

9. Parent Tip: We are entering week 3 of Charlotte’s Web. We are reading Chapters 12-17 this week. In these chapters Charlotte continues working hard to save Wilbur by spinning new words into her web, making him famous around the farm. As more people come to see Wilbur, he begins to realize how special Charlotte’s friendship truly is and how much she is willing to do for him. The animals prepare for the County Fair, and Wilbur feels both excited and nervous about what might happen there. Some questions you can ask at home are: Why do you think Charlotte works so hard to help Wilbur? How does Wilbur’s attitude change as he becomes famous? What makes Charlotte such a good friend?
What do you predict will happen to Wilbur at the County Fair?

Let’s make it a great week,

Eaton Staff
