Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of February 23rd.
1. There is no LAUNCH tomorrow.
2. Our county Fine Arts Showcase will take place on Friday at Loudon High School.
3. The March Rocketeer will go home on Friday.
4. Monday, March 2nd we will celebrate Read Across America day and we are encouraging students to dress like their favorite book character.
5. Next week will also be National Breakfast week and we are encouraging students to eat breakfast each day. We will have fun games and drawings each day for students to participate in.
6. Parent Tip: This week parent tip is for the parents out there who have a child that is extremely inquisitive and suggestions on how to handle your nonstop question kiddo. Check out this handy handout if this is your child: English:

We ask that these snacks be mostly non-perishable and be able to be easily distributed. All donations need to be at the school by Friday, February 27th. Our student council really wishes to make this snack drive a huge success and appreciates your support!

1. Our Student Council is working on a project for Cold Hands and Warm Hearts. They are asking for donations of individual snacks to donate to this organization.
2. Mark your calendar for Bingo for Books. This is a free event to play bingo and win books. It will be Friday from 5:00-7:00. Additionally, the book fair will be open for shopping during that time.
3. Parent Tip: We wanted to share a simple Skittles Rainbow Experiment. If you have a few moments this week, try this experiment and use the worksheet to record their observations. It is a great at home to school connection activity to talk about sequencing and how sugar reacts with water.
