welcome we are excited that you decided to enroll your child at Eaton Elementary my name is Ashley baseler and I'm the principal at Easton Elementary School in this short video You're going to hear a few things you can do to make the day runs we're going to cover three things in this video first pre-registration second registration day and then three what to expect if you have any questions. this process over the summer at the start of the year please feel free to reach out to myself Ashley baseler or RC data manager Andrew Housley are contact information will be on the very last line and you can also find it on our website additionally you have a Facebook page if you can reach out to Eaton Elementary there too and we can help answer any questions that you may have first off we would love for you to sign up for a time to come register your child you do not have to pre-register it's just going to help us the pre-register sign up we conducted using an online form the link is attached on our website under kindergarten registration again you do not have to pre-register however it will make r.j. Reynolds it's neither for you and your family in the form you're going to have to put start information so that we can already have a badge pre-printed for the Guardians who are attending with a child on round up day we will also have a folder ready for your child a kindergarten teacher signs and mystery short screening and a gift for your child as well I know I've already mentioned a few reasons why we would love for you to pre-register but my next one is all safety safety is our top priority we got our school we used to check in system called Raptor that requires I stood it to scan a state issued ID to print off a badge before you have access to our building by pre-registering we can get that information in the computer prior to you again you don't have to pre-register it just makes the process run a little bit smoother if we have that done all adults will need to bring their state issued ID on kindergarten registration day Additionally the Forum will also have a spot for you to sign up for it that is most convenient for you to come to preach to register your child please choose your top two times to attend we will contact you via email with a confirm Time by 5 p.m. on April 4th and a reminder phone call April 5th our goal is to reduce your wait time by staggering arrival and being able to spend as much time with each family as needed please remember that you don't have to pre-register but but it will allow us to serve you better registration day you might be asking yourself what should I do now between now and Roundup day well after you complete the pre-registration there is a few things you can do we have registration packets information free to pick up a school you can come by the school to pick the packets up so that is already filled out prior to your arrival and you'll have the necessary documents that are needed we also have all of these documents load electronically on our website if you go to our website you'll be able to locate the Roundup paperwork by clicking on the white Bible that says Pre-K Kindergarten roundup some of those documents you will need to have are the official birth certificate this time give me the state-issued birth certificate not the mother's copy that's an often a mistake that holds people at so make sure you have the official state copy the Tennessee immunization form please make sure that is marked at the bottom with the correct grade at the top right that it's signed as well we want to make sure the immunization and the physical are completed with the doctor signature you also need two proofs of residency with matching names and addresses the easiest documents are normally. driver's license in the utility bill if you need other examples please see our website or the registration packet for Approved proof of residency documentation if you live with someone else in your name is not on the lease or utilities or property tax you can find an alternate residency form to its located on our website if you use the alternate residency for make sure you read the bottom of the form so that you bring the additional proof of documentation the kind that completes our circle of you living with somebody else the last thing is proof of Guardianship and this can be the birth certificate if your name is listed if your name isn't listed there other proof you can find those also on our website under proof of guardianship the registration packet has four items for you to complete the first one is the residency verification this is where you will lift the praise that you're providing and signs that they are accurate the second one is a ray station sheet make sure you complete the front and the back of the form and then sign the back at the bottom form 3 and 4 are your migrant survey and your home language survey again all of this information can be found on our website or by scanning the QR code on your phone another big question is do you want for 2 hours if you've never been to our building before it you're probably curious it's about it we will have a few of our fourth grade scholar setup and a primary for your ready to give any family a tour of the building on Randolph Roundup day if you would like one do you still have questions if so please free to reach out via email to miss Housley where myself you can find her emails located on this drive we're excited she blasting off with you on the next great adventure of a 2020 320 for school year thank you and we look forward to seeing you I can
