G'Day mates! My name is Steven Townley and I am entering my 15th year as a Health and Physical Education teacher at Eaton Elementary School! Eaton is an amazing school. I love being a part of it and love being a positive influence on my students.

I was born and raised in Adelaide, Australia. I absolutely love my homeland, am very proud of my Australian heritage and still call Australia home!

My teaching philosophy is to challenge my students to be the best they can be and ultimately see them succeed. I set my classes up so that students have incremental goals to aim for, leading to success and increased motivation until the overall goal is achieved. I want my kids to enjoy coming to Health and Physical Education knowing they will have fun, work hard and learn something new!

Along with teaching here at Eaton, I am also a competitive club soccer coach and age group director for FC Alliance in Knoxville. I am a massive fan of the Essendon Football Club as well as Central Districts Football Club and the NRL team the Canberra Raiders. I am also a big Queensland Maroons fan. I also like English Premier League side Manchester United and Scottish Premier League side Celtic FC.

I am married to the amazing Mollie who is a High School English teacher and have an incredible daughter, Matilda. We live with our 3 dogs Manchester, Victoria and Alice.
