hi I'm at the timeframe I'm the Pre-K teacher here at Eaton Elementary I'm here to share a few things to expect next year best part about Pre-K so much learning and growth takes place do a lot of that learning and growing through play we have centers where children will learn how to interact with other children we learned what inside voices are compared to outside voices we get to deal with conflict which is a real thing that we need to learn how to deal with them we learn how to do that very healthy ways we learn about playing the house and in the kitchen have building with blocks to reading books to be an artist to playing through dramatic play with dress up the list goes on and on and kids look very forward two plain and sinners because they get to have some stuff toys and we definitely like to encourage children to make some self choices but at the same time we are preparing our Pre-K babies Fortuner car so we will also learn how to write our name we will learn in math will learn about counting all kinds of thing how to make a kindergarten ready like I mentioned before with Sinners we do learn a lot through play using Sinners we also get to go outside and play a typical prepaid a starts with a rival and we go back to the classroom and we enjoy breakfast each morning after breakfast we can do the carpet and we do some calendar time we learn our letter of the week we practice with that letter and that we're going to use all week for weary stories and that's another amazing thing the growth at your childhood experience just by asking and answering questions with read-aloud stories I love to read at least two stories a day to children you to read as much as you can with your child at home for math use played help learn use color and other attributes of shape or your environment anywhere and anyhow that you can this helps with number identification and that one-to-one ratio I look forward to seeing all my Pre-K babes next year and I hope you have a great summer by
