Welcome to Pre-K

I am excited to be teaching Pre-K again this year with Mrs. T by my side! I hope to inspire, encourage, and empower your young learner. Most of all I want to instill a love for learning for my students. I believe we are partners in your child's growth and look forward to working with you and your child this school year!

 

A little about myself:

 

This will be my 9th year at EES. (Three of the prior 8 years were in First and four were in Third.) I taught second grade in another district before becoming a Rocket 🚀. 

My wonderful husband and I have two awesome girls!

 

I am a very passionate, dedicated, and organized individual and teacher.

Pre-K Roundup is April 6th

Hello all! Roundup for the 2023-2024 school year will be Thursday, April 6, 2023 8:00 - 3:00. You will submit your Pre-K application to whichever Loudon County School is your first choice. Be on the lookout for more information, including the application and required documents, to be posted on the county's and individual schools' websites. At this time, we do not have any more information to share. Stay tuned!

Welcome New Friends

Mrs. Humphrey’s Pre-K is about to get a lot sweeter! Our class will be growing as early as NEXT Monday! That’s right! Monday, September 19th we will be welcoming new friends to the classroom! 🤗💜

Welcome

Hello Pre-K families! We will have Parent Night on Tuesday, August 9th at 5:00 P.M. this is a great opportunity to gain knowledge of important information for the year! We will be joined together with Kindergarten. This is conducted in the cafeteria at EES. 

Please be sure to bring $5 for the planner and folder donation your child will be provided with this year. The wish (supply) list can be found on my website, as well as other areas of the school’s website. 

if you haven’t yet, please be sure to subscribe. All guardians may do this to obtain news pertinent to your child’s school events.

Class newsletters will go home every Friday (or the last day of the school week) and be posted to my website for you to refer to if you misplace yours. These are always a useful resource and can often answer any questions you might have.

Welcome to Pre-K 

Hi families! Registration Day is August 1, 2022.

When I return to the classroom (on July 27, 2022), I will contact each of you to schedule appointment times to complete registration paperwork. During this time, I will also provide you with important information and be available to answer questions.

Pre-K will begin with staggered days and a delayed start. Below you will find sign ups. You will need to sign up for ONE time slot via each link. Arrival will be from 8:15-8:30 and dismissal will be from 1:30-1:40 during this time.

***You will be given further instructions on the procedure and location of the Pre-K car line.***

I have made the following sign ups to help organize and let you sign up for your child’s 1:1, 1st day with 1/4 of the class, and 1st day with 1/2 the class. Please click on each of the three links as they are separate forms to sign up for these special dates. 😊

***The sign ups are set up for you to cancel and reschedule, without needing to contact me, as needed. I will see who is signed up for which time slot on 7/27/22.***

August 16th will be the first day with the whole class (all 20 students)! This will be the last day of our delayed start. 😊

Beginning Wednesday, August 17, 2022 arrival will be from 7:45-7:55 and dismissal will be from 1:30-1:40.
